Search and Reservation

Tubetrak offers a highly detailed search capability, with the user being able to filter on many fields, including: one or more commodity attributes, specific contracts and lots, inventory locations and cost centres.

Results are presented according to the visibility that each user has been authorised to have, allowing the system to support the commercial confidentiality required between different operating companies and other market participants. The results screen offers a rich functionality with the user able to switch currencies, units of measure and drill into aggregated results to view the specific inventory details that make up any particular total. Moreover, a user can request a reservation of a particular item of inventory, and if accepted this will then be reflected in the results of available inventory to all users.

Enquiry Management

A busy trading office must handle many different enquires in a day, and Tubetrak offers a screen to allow the user to record and monitor all the enquiries. An enquiry can be built up of several different commodities within differing delivery dates, and all the relevant terms needed to create a quotation are captured in a single screen.

To maintain a high degree of data integrity, most fields are populated by pre-loaded lists, but traders are able to add new commodities, customers, locations and other key data immediately. New additions can then be reviewed and corrected or authorised at a later stage.

Supporting documentation, such as material specifications can be added to each enquiry.

Quotation Builder

Once an enquiry has been received, the task of building a quotation is commenced, and Tubetrak supplies the environment to bring together and record the various inputs and offers the necessary workflows around the approval and sending of formal quotations.

Management Reporting

With data already aggregated into a single system, Tubetrak offers an unprecedented opportunity to provide many valuable reports for managment. Its flagship report is a highly interactive global inventory risk management report, allowing senior management to monitor levels of inventory around the world and take action to manage the aging profile of stocks. Additional bespoke reports can be developed to order, and more generalised reporting made available through query builder functionality.
